What I love the most about sharing on Google Map & Why

What do I love to share on Google map?

I started this google guide journey almost 2 years back while was searching for an address, while I was standing just outside it. I was not able to locate it as there was no actual photograph online and also the address was not very popular ( Although people in India are very helpful). I just decided to start contributing internet, the pictures of places/address and reviews about the places I would be visiting, so that others have a fair idea.

Two things which I love most to share on google map are-

a) Pictures of locations. When you visit places like China-town in Singapore or Andheri in Mumbai, google maps help you pin the location, but to find the address juxtaposed on the pinned location sometimes become extremely painful and taxing. I have got a habit to post the pictures of places I visit, along with the pictures in that ecosystem, so that visitor could feel the place without even knowing it.

b) Reviews - I follow the rule “To continue searching for new things”, especially food and places- During this search I sometimes come across two completely opposing experiences. I believe reviews given around them can be an extremely powerful way to amplify those experiences and at least help other life-travelers to do an experiment in the right direction. However, I also feel that my experience can be contextual and influenced by my own upbringing and thoughts. That’s why I always try to be as precise a possible while I review any place of businesses.
