Why I love sharing Google Maps - I am a certified business advisor and work with tons of teeny tiny small businesses and nonprofit organizations. I love sharing my experiences on Google maps and leaving reviews for small businesses to help them get found. I volunteer and teach Google My Business GMB classes at the local chambers of commerce so I can help the local businesses learn free ways to help their business get found and grow. Even if they don’t have deep pockets, they can still compete with big businesses by creating their GMB listing and posting about their products and services. This puts them on the map and helps them show up when folks are searching for their products and services in their area. I’m all about helping the businesses help each other; teaching them the importance of asking for reviews and responding to them. I’m proud to say that I’ve helped hundreds of small business get online and show up on Google Maps all over South Carolina. And I’ve looked at analytics; almost all of the small businesses I’ve helped get more hits on their GMB listing than their website. I know it works! I’m passionate helping the little guys. When we help each other, we all do better!
