What I love sharing the most on Google Maps.

“Travel far enough, you meet yourself”

Since I am a seasonal cinematographer, I have a fetish for travelling and food, I love posting pictures of the places I visit, the food I eat there, their opening/working hours, its ambience, its exact location and all the details about the culture and architecture of the place.

“Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.” – Ibn Battuta

My contribution to Google maps showcases my own taste, both in terms of expedition and food choices. I am now accustomed to doing this on a regular routine basis, as I keep updating the database with every little, hidden and unusual places to fancy, cultural and monumental places, which in turn help many people feel safe and locatable.

Hitherto, I have shared pictures and details of cafes, restaurants, dhabas, food joints and palaces etc., I love adding new businesses to the maps with working hours and contact information. I have shared information apropos to my unbiased opinion about the taste of the food, hospitality, value for money, discounts, seating and the overall atmosphere and vibe of the places.

Since, the time I’ve associated myself with the idea of mapping locations and things (and recently adding 360 photos), I have realized that there are many undetected places and experiences, which form the basis of our Indian culture and modernization and they’re going unnoticed. I try to do my bit, by contributing my share as a Google Local Guide.
