I love Google Maps; I think it has been one of the best inventions of Google team and I am very thankful about it. I use it frequently because I love to show to the world a little bit more about Colombia and this is the perfect place to do it, also it’s the perfect place to know about other countries and cultures. That’s why I love to share every possible place that I have the chance to go in my country and more than all, in my city, Bogotá.
I haven’t had the opportunity to visit other countries, but I keep the hope that someday I will do it. That’s the first thing I always think when decide to share something in Google Maps, I ask myself: if I go to other country, what I would enjoy knowing the most and what kind of experiences do I want to have? Keeping in mind this in mind, I really love to share the best places where usually the Colombian people go. Because, this would give to the tourist a real experience of how we live here, the things that we do everyday and they would have a real experience about what this beautiful country is. I love to help people and in certain way the Local Guides program let me do it with the people who visits my country and my city, I believe this will be a good tool to help them not to be fooled and “get caught” in what I call: tourist traps.
I love to share this kind of content, I know that when they come back to their home places, they will go with a big smile on face, because Colombia and Colombian people has too much to offer to the world. As happens in every part of the world could happen things that make that your trip doesn’t be as good as your expectations were, but I really think that my contributions help to this doesn’t happen and it helps to Colombia be a more attractive destiny to the world. So, COME HERE, WE ARE WAITING YOU WITH OPEN ARMS AND A BIG SMILE!!!
