What I love sharing the most - FOOD!

As part of Google Local Guides, I love to share photographs of the Food I eat in my city - Mumbai, India. I run a food community called - Pet Pujaris , which translates to ‘Stomach Worshipers’. Through this community I have been organising foodie meet ups since 2011. The idea is an open community, social dining, anybody can join and everybody enjoys the food. I organise 2 events in a month - A ‘Fatka’ which is a proper sit down meal at a restaurant or fine dine, and a ‘Kadka’ which is all about affordable food in the city, which could be street vendors, food walks, QSRs, etc. Over the years I have seen the entire food scene change in my city and I have been sharing them here through Local Guides. I actually feel more satisfied sharing my photographs here rather than Instagram :P.

Here are a few photographs of the last meet up I conducted at House of Misal, Dadar:

This is my first story here and I’m quite excited to write about it. I’ve only been sharing food photographs on Google Maps from all the food I eat in my city and when I travel. It’s become sort of a ritual. I became even more active when I realised my photos have been viewed more than 600,000 times. It was sort of a revelation and appreciation to all the work I do to build a food community.

I am going to be sharing a lot more photos, videos and even try to host a meet up through Local Guides soon ?

Happy Eating ~
