What I Love Sharing on Google Maps centers around local businesses everywhere I visit
What i do basically when I see a local business:
- I check the map to see if it’s on the Google maps, whenever I find a business location not on the map, I approach the business owner introduce myself as a Google local guide, than educate the business owner on the benefits of his business location been on the map, he /she is always pleased at the end and gives me the infomation i need to fully add the business to the map.
- For cases where the business location is on Google maps I take pictures most especially the front view and the interior of the business.
- Than I check to see if the locations is pinned rightly if not I click the edit button to move the pin to the right location.
- Lastly I give reviews.
Being a local guide has gives me a sense of purpose knowing that through my little effort that a new customer would soon locate that local business via my contribution to the map, thereby contributing to growth of the economy on my country.
