- Underrated places: Sharing underrated places is one of my favorite things to do in google maps.
- Photos: I love taking photos of places I go to and sharing them with people. A photograph holds great power; it can convey information succinctly and feelings faithfully. A good photo can tell you nearly everything relevant about a place.
- Adding New places: All humans have a natural penchant for exploration. Some people collect stamps; I collect new places. I find that being a long way away from home lends itself well to self-reflection and introspection. Once in a while, I find a place, often remote, whose name is known only to those around that locality. I feel that adding such places to Google Maps is fruitful endeavor; even travellers appreciate the fact that information is power.
