I would like to tell you why I form part of local guides.
To be honest, what I really like is travelling. Since I was a child I have wondered to discover new cultures, places and countries. Despite I am rather young, I have lived much more trips and experiences than I would ever imagine due to an university band called “Tuna”, which have brought me the possibility of moving arround al my country without money, just a guitar and the desire of singing.
This band called Tuna is a tipical Spanish tradition that comes from medieval ages, students who could not afford their studies started to play music in order to get money and a dish, this culture has been perduring for ages until nowadays. We wear the same costumes as they used to wear so as to keep it alive. Besides the “Tuna” is allowing me to pay my degree as a mechanical engieenier.
Local guides platform has allowed me to discover sites that could be interesting to visit and in some cases has guied all my journey. As example, when I visited Malta, because Google community advised me about restaurants where me and my band could perform so that I could afford my trip. I am compleately in debt with this comunity consequently it is my duty to form part of it actively.
Although I am living in Valencia I was born in Murcia, a city situated at south-est of Spain, recently Murcia has become targeted by “unculture” jokes just because our acent, on the contrary, Murcia is one of the most historical and rich in culture cities with a large heritage of muslim and cristian culture. Reviews are a way to make my city known and silence the people who bad-mouth about it.
