Taking a picture that others find helpful is a challenge, an enjoyable one. I break it down into different types:
Utilitarian: Useful to navigate, find or learn about the location
Informational: Contain info, hours, logistical information
Artful: shows the captures the essence of the location whether it be beautiful, or conveys other feelings or emotions.
Thinking this way about capturing an image I think increases the value to the readers.
