I joined the local guides program a few years ago, and with time you can say I became addicted 
I love sharing photos and reviews of restaurants, small businesses and places that I go with my kids.
I believe that the google maps application actually improves the real world! it’s a direct connection between the business providers and their customers. In most restaurants the waiter asks you at some point : “how is everything”? and many people just nod politely without really saying something significant. With google maps, I can really give the business owner constructive feedback and they can improve. I had several occasions where business owners replied to my reviews and it felt very helpful. Even if they don’t respond, In my opinion, knowing they will be reviewed on such broadly accepted platform make them work harder and provide better service.
If a business or an owner deserves good feedback, it’s the best feeling to acknowledge them and know that it will actually help them as many people would see this and come to that business.
That’s why I love being a local guide!
