What I love sharing most on Google Maps...?

(Images above are my Tourist time out to Olumo Rock Ikija Road, Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria)

Tourist centres has become the number one option on the list for workers looking to take a break from all the hassles and stress of work during vacations of much needed work leave.

It’s also important to points out how much in revenue countries like Spain and Singapore are deriving from places like Ibiza beach in Barcelona, and Kuala Lumpur in Singapore respectively. All these beautiful scenery’s and recreational and relaxing beaches located at this developed nations can also be found in Africa with an even more naturally organic environment, nonetheless challenges such as stereotypes and poor PR had not made people from all over the world discover the richness and quality of nature one can enjoy from Africa aside the usual suspect (. With the Advent of Geo-location technology; Google Maps most especially the narrative is about to change as passionate Google Local guide contributors like myself has taken it upon ourselves to make our Tourist centers known to the world even much easier and faster as through day to day contributions via Google Maps. I am passionate about educating citizens of other countries of the world the unique experience Tourist centers like the Ikogosi Water Falls (Ekiti), Ancients mystical rock that is Olumo Rock (Abeokuta), Obudu Cattle ranch in (Cross River state) to mention a few all places in Nigeria. I wrote a short medium post on my experience of the mystical Olumo Rock Abeokuta which you can find here.

What I love sharing the most on Google Map is surely my escapades with Tourist centers in Nigeria amongst other important contributions like review of local businesses and their exact location in the community.

Very interesting read, @cercuit !

Tell me more about the structures in your third photo? Are those just elevators for people to visit the top of the Olumo Rock?

Hi Jordan,

To your question. Yes they are Elevators to help tourist climb to the top of Olumo Rock. There are two ways to get to the summit of the rock. First is the adventurous mount climbing way and then the second is the Elevator,to help take children and older citizens to the zenith of the rock. Also an important information about the mystical rock is that since inception the rock has mystical powers that help guide people to its summit, there has been no record of anyone slumping or falling down from the top of the rock. I was told it’s impossible for any tourist that has come to the Rock in good faith ever falling from it.
