What I love sharing most on Google Maps...?

Hi

In today’s Digital world almost, everyone uses google map. It offers satellite imagery, aerial photography, street maps, 360-degree panoramic views of streets, real time traffic conditions and route planning for travelling by foot, car, bicycle and air or public transportation.

Most people use google map to travel, to find ways to a location, however there are so many features of google map which are still unknown to so many people. One is Google local Guide program. Google maps allows every user to contribute their content, describe their experience by providing reviews and insights with answers, sharing photographs, updating information with place edits, add missing places, or verify information by checking facts through local guide program.

For me, there is nothing as specific i like posting on google map, its everything I love about. When I go travelling to a place, i like to post everything about it be it photos, reviews or food. When i go to eat out i love adding reviews about that. Still if you ask me this question, I would rate “Giving my opinion and sharing photos of place” on top as that would help other travellers to decide their visit for that place. As before going to a new place, the first thing we do today, is …we Google it ! Photos and reviews helps a lot to decide.

Just few months back I also came to know about adding a missing place on google map which is quiet a good feature. One can add a place which is not there on Google. Steps are easy. This feature helps other travellers to reach out there.

What is the most appealing to me apart from helping? Know places to have a good concept and help others.

I love traveling, although I have travelled very few places but would like to know much more with time.

Thanks for reading my post.

Thanks for sharing the story and photos @Meenu_Gill . The waterfall looks magnificent. I want to visit Goa some time so will try and visit the Dudhsagar Falls too.

yes, its magnificent. … One will not be able to move eyes from it. However it is most beautiful in rainy season.

One will have to cross little water streams to reach at its base. Its a 2 hours trek from Kulem station. Must visit but avoid taking kids along with as sometimes the flow increases in rainy season in water streams.
