Hi,my name is Shakkwar, I live in Bangladesh, which is at southern region of the Asian continent. I love to visit new place, testing new food and mostly love posting pictures of visited place, food and streets.
Photography is my hobby, when I visit any place I try to find the story of the place through my photography. and I upload this photo on google map. that people can get an idea about the place. I prefer upload photo than write a review on google map. Because there is a proverb, “A picture is worth a thousand words” It refers that a complex idea can be conveyed with just a single picture, this picture conveys its meaning or essence more effectively than a description does. Sometimes I do review, add missing place and answer the people’s question. But most of all, I love to share photos of different place on Google Maps!
when anyone search a new place on google map he could get a proper idea by these photos on google map.
evermore I love to shear those photos on google map which are not only a photo but also a good photograph with a spiritual view. For example, lets see some pictures of Jamuna river, which i have added on google map.
In this photo people may find out the magical view of this river which can’t be shown in a map or any description. This photographs have the ability to convey emotion, mood, narrative, ideas and messages all of which are important elements of story telling.
I know my local community best, so I try to capture the landscape of my village and upload them in google map. Now anyone can see the beauty of my village and they would be able to make better decision on whether they would want to visit.
After all when I travel somewhere I try to capture some special photo for google map. This special photos may help people to know the place more detailed. For example last year I traveled India. Where I captured some photo specially for contributing google map. some of those photo is here:
There may be no monetary satisfaction to contribute in google map. But I can feel something more than that. If I contribute to google map, people may get helped from them. I believe helping others is to help myself.
Now I am a level 7 local guide and still try to contribute more to my community. I enjoy contributing on google map. It’s awesome to be a local guide and I am proud of it.
