My favorite thing to share on Google Maps is photographs.
It makes absolute sense: first, picture is worth a thousand words, second, I love browsing through other people’s pictures on Google Maps and I would like to give others the same joy.
I am also thrilled about the technical challenge of taking a spectacular picture with my simple smartphone camera. I love thinking about light, about the right angle, about motion and the mood to make it good.
Traveling and going to new places have gained a new dimension with that spatial awareness.
