So what I love the most about sharing on Google Maps is that you can reach out to a potentially large number of people and make sure that they too have accurate facts about the places that they visit.
This can be as simple as confirming the opening hours of a museum, local shop or place of interest. It can be as important as the availability and accessibility of restrooms or as possibly silly as answering a question about a McDonalds and does it offer the option of fine dining!
So what I try and share most of all are the facts!
From opening hours to review questions trying to make sure that the next person who wants to visit somewhere I have already been will have the opportunity to form a more fully informed opinion and decide if that place is right for them.
While there is certainly a buzz from knowing that more than 2,000 people have viewed a photo I took in London, it is the hope that those 2,000 people might have then gone on to decide to bring their families to that very spot as a result, is why I love sharing the facts on Google.
