It’s a great application!
At first, I knew nothing about local Guide program! I used the application as many users, to get location I wanted or to add a review. However, sometimes i faced a problem when you found the place had been permanently closed or the working hours had been changed.
One day, in a trip, I spent more than one hour to find a grocery store and then I found it around 50 meter from the hotel! I wished if I could find out how to add such places to help other people. Only the coincidence is the one who led me to this program :D.
Two years ago, I was trying to change the application settings and surprised that all my reviews had been saved! then I found that i can add a missing places. So, I started to add. This was the target and nothing else.
Wait, I still didn’t know any thing about the program nor the levels or even the annual conference but it was a shock when I received an email from a department called Google Guide last year informing me I am a candidate for the annual conference 2018. Unfortunately, I read the mail late after the deadline.
As a traveler, in non English countries, application like google map is like the water for the human. you can’t imagine how it was horrible before this App.
the magic that - through all guides- you can check any places with reviews, photos or even videos! it seems that you already visited!.
I love to share the small business locations as no body care about adding such small places. it will helps both the owner and customer.
