My name is Dr. Surbhi Mittal and i am from India. I started working as a google local guide since 7 months.
Idea of becoming a local guide came into my mind when i did my most awaited trip to Udaipur and as it went so amazing that i decided to tell people about what i liked the most and what i didn’t.
Then one of my friend (also a google local guide) gave me an idea to become one and i joined, now at level 6. I started giving reviews of my visited places considering its location, landmark, do’s and don’ts.
According to me, before exploring a place for the first time, people are always concerned about its route, safety, and cost. So, Google made this very simple and provided this platform to all where they can consider other’s experience initially and then share their own views and perceptions more efficiently.
I love travelling and i love to explore new places along with my much extra love for food. So after living beautiful moments, i tell people about the same and feel it as my favorite job.
Now, when i decided to go to a new place, i just click some pictures of food, landmarks, monument, and other places just to add something in my google guide contribution.
One more point i want to add is that when my reviews reach to some level, google always appreciate it by mailing me about likes, views, and most viewed or helpful review. It always encourage me to add more and more.
I am happy to be a google local guide and a part of Google Family and i know that i am Always READY TO EXPLORE NEW AND SHARE NEW.
