Most of all I like to share on Google Maps with public spaces with their unique environment and pleasant atmosphere that contribute to people communication, to different sorts of activities.
What is the public space in the city? In recent years, the urbanism development has created a tendency to create public spaces in cities. It is a place where people enjoy being and interacting with each other. It can be a popular cafe, a pedestrian street or a city square with many benches where you can put your face to the sun. These are the places that allow a person to find like-minded people or learn something new.
In today’s world, our life is often reduced to two locations – home and work. Public places have become so-called “third” places. It is a place where a person can spend the evening, time between work and home. I believe that public places help a person not to feel loneliness. In any place I try to note the nature of the audience, the ease of the environment, the friendliness to foreigners, children, young mothers or students, etc.
I believe that public places are extremely important nowadays. And this places can be absolutly different from each other.
