Today, I’d like to share with you what I now love sharing most on Maps.
My favourite way of contributing to Maps used to be editing wrong information on Maps. Lately, I’ve decided to contribute more high quality contents by sharing reviews of the places whenever I find a misleading information. I do this by visiting and putting the right information of those places I visit on Maps . This has become critically important because Lagos changes very fast these days, so it’s pretty easy for information to go stale after a short period of time. More importantly, since I like sharing reviews of small businesses and these businesses tend to fold up, relocate or change names, it becomes more important to update these information.
So, I’d say the perspective these contributions bring is about putting the right information on Maps for everyone to be guided properly. That’s more like an astute or sage kind of contribution. The knowledge, the tips, the information and the answers I contribute bring this perspective to bare.
I think it’s extremely important to share reviews of places I visit to guide locals and foreigners with the right information. Also, since it’s gradually becoming a culture for people to read reviews before visiting new places, it has become increasingly important to share reviews of places for others to see before they visit.
I always hope that my reviews would make a positive impact because I try to comment in a creative way, on information that others would discover when they visit. By doing this creatively, it keeps the users engaged in the review and ultimately makes a positive impact.
