I am a beginner as a Local guide. I even could not imagine that there is such a community. Several times my phone offered to add photos or leave an opinion about different places. Then I realized that I have a lot of pictures of meals, cafe, museum, theatre and so on, which I can share with guests of my city and other residents.
Mostly I share food photos because my friends and I like to discuss different topics eating some delicious meals. It is important for us to visit new places, take photos together.
Sometimes I can not share photos of food via Instagram or other social media and there is I usually notice Google maps notification ‘‘Have you been there?’’. Then I start writing my opinion about a perfect burger or amazing lemonade which I have a taste a couple of minutes ago. I have a chance to share my emotions before they disappear as a Local guide.
