I love google maps as it is best way to know about any place, especially the distance of the place we want to go from our current location. And being a google local guide gives me an edge of over others as I help Google Maps create that content for the people using it.
I love sharing on Google Maps because I can reach to a lot of people who actually want the information about the place, at first I was astonished to see an email from Google that your review and pictures have been seen by a ten thousand people, this is what motivated me the most. I was with my small step was able to help at least ten thousand people if not more.
I mostly love sharing about the old heritage monuments, I feel these places are not often visited by people , and helping them understand the place, with a little history about it and with it’s beautiful pictures, I think I will be able motivate people to visit these places. With lot of people coming and appreciating heritage monuments will help in the conservation of our heritage monuments as people will demand for it’s conservation to the right people and also help in their ways. I am from India and we have many monuments, and there are also few monuments in India which are not even known to most people and I want create an awareness about these places and motivate them to come and see our incredible heritage.
