Things about an explorer
Hello! I’m Sharny, a positive, outgoing and heartwarming girl from Taiwan.
I love to explore the world, experience different cultures, meet strangers and try different kinds of food. I’ve traveled to the United States, Japan, Korea, China, Austria, Czech, Germany, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia. Although I have traveled to so many countries, no one can stop me from keep exploring around this world.

So, here’s my story.
Last year, I represented my school in Taiwan as an exchange student to China and the United States for one year. During the half year exchange period in the U.S. , I traveled to 11 different states around the U.S…
My favorite city in the U.S. is Reno. There has many crazy casinos but you can also find peaceful town on the other side of the city. It truly is "The Biggest Little City in the World”. This made me decided to study graduate school in Reno in this Fall.

As a foodie, I love to try different kinds of food around the world, especially desserts.
I always call myself a cake lover.
I think I’ve already found the best cake in Taiwan. My next goal is finding out the best cake in America!
Most of my reviews are about restaurants and food. I hope one day when somebody wants to find a good restaurant on Google Maps, they can avoid a terrible one because of my reviews! The people who review my comments can understand “what can I get in the shop?”, “how’s the food looks like in reality”, “how much money should I prepare?” and “how’s the environment in the restaurant?”. I want to bring my reviewers a totally complete understanding about the spot they are looking for. I love to take lots of pictures including the menus in every restaurant that I visit because I want to be more details when writing my reviews in every aspect. In most of my reviews, I created a unique rating system. I use emoji to rate the restaurants based on their food quality, environment and service.
When I travel to a country which I’ve never been to, I will check every attractions and restaurant on Google Maps. Accordingly, I realize how important the reviews are. Thanks to other local guides’ contribution, I can find the best attractions and restaurants in that area. I also want to help others to know more about the places that I have already visited.
Also, I like to add some small business which is missing on Google Maps and willing to give it a try!
I understand sometimes, the best food won’t be found in well known restaurant, tourist always don’t know where they can find the most authentic food. So, reviewers can through my reviews to find the best restaurant which tastes most traditional and classic!
Due to the passion about sharing what I saw, I started to learn video editing and take photography classes. I plan to visit Canada, Nederland and Thailand next year. Please let me have this honor to share my brilliant life to you.
