I love adding small businesses on google maps. This way I feel like I’m contributing to their growth and that of my community as well. Small businesses are the backbone of all economies and they need to be given exposure and support of any sorts that can help them grow. It doesn’t matter whether you own one that small business in your community needs you and you need it, and its growth is paramount to the growth of your community as well. In the recent past I have added three small businesses on google maps in my community and I know I will keep adding more with every chance I can get. The challenge though is some people are not well informed and so they don’t understand how this works. So when they see you trying to take pictures of their businesses it gets you into trouble. Because what comes into their minds is that you might be planning to rob them at night when they are closed. But I try to explain and let them know that I actually mean well for their businesses’. I like to help people find good places in the city. . When I share about any place or information & people get help from me I feel proud.
