As a child, it was quite evident that I had a wanderlust spirit and no matter how I try to keep that wanderlust spirit dormant inside of me it was bound to erupt.
Moving from St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands to New Jersey as a child, and then moving to New York as an adult, only heightened my curiosity of what the world had to offer. When I went off to college I was free to explore and learn new things and with my new found freedom I wanted to share what I learned and what I experienced outside of my comfort zone.
What I love to share most on Google Maps is those hidden treasures that many tourists seem to overlook but the locals know all about. When I travel, I never seek out the cookie cutter itinerary provided by those travel magazines, I want to eat like a local, drink like a local, dress like a local, and for me, that’s the best way to experience a new place while traveling. Whether it’s my island of St. Croix or my island of New York City I want you to experience life like a local and enjoy all the hidden treasures that we have to offer. Google Maps helps me share my experiences through video, photography and written reviews and get the viewer to almost feel like they are experiencing the same experiences with me and this is why I love sharing on Google Maps.
