I’m Shivani Malviya and I’m writing this post to share about what I like the most about sharing on Google Maps .
It has been more than 2 years since I joined the Google maps as a local guide. It is like a journey for me . Whenever I look back on my contributions I just feel like it was yesterday i went to this place or this restaurant. Now it is like a passion for me to write reviews and posting good shots for the restaurants or a tourist place so that next when people visit the place they will know their goals.
When i was new to Google maps, I only used it for finding the routes. But i used to get lots of notifications to upload my pictures of the restaurants, ofcourse I was so passionate about capturing the moments . So thats how I knew about local guides . When i started posting my photos to Google maps I enjoyed it a lot and gradually i started writing the reviews about the cafés and restaurants and all the places I visit . I felt like I’m responsible for letting people know that what actually they are going to do or see at the place they are visiting . I was an enthusiast and Google maps gave me an opportunity to work with them as a local guide. I’m a foodie I’m a traveler and also I love to share my good and bad experiences with people . So this is my story as a local guide . I hope I will continue this passion for many more years of my life and I will definitely give people expectations and goals for the next place they go to.
