What I like to share on Local guides

A short post on what pictures I like to share on Google local guide.

I am not a professional photographer but I realized I have different perspective on the things I see around me. I also realized that when I do take picture of a scenery , I focus on different things from my friends. So with Google local guides, I grabbed the opportunity to share my pictures from my perspectives to the world. I love story telling since when I was a child so I use my pictures to capture some of my daily stories .

I live in Tampere, a modern Nordic city with nature interweave with modern Scandinavian design, priceless. A city of thousands of lakes and bunch of opportunities to tell your daily stories about life in Tampere.

I like to take pictures of unique events, objects, scenery and useful daily discoveries to help others. I take pictures of antique shops , unique gardens within a modern city like Tampere or when travelling abroad. I take pictures of coffee shops with antique chairs and tables along side antique shop (super cozy), alley of grocery shop that have unique arrangement of the shelves. Share my favorite grocery shops, restaurants and shopping areas from my perspective ( what I see when I look at these things) to the world.

For example in summer 2017, I was travelling with my family through Lahti, a city in Finland and I visited the city park. I found it very beautiful and I documented all the different themes of the park and the structures from my perspective in a sequence that tells my story to Google local guides. Now that is what excites me about Google local guide, taking people through my stories with pictures and making lots of people life easier through the information they get from my pictures.

I will continue to share because I like taking pictures with my phone and I always have a story to tell wherever I find myself…why not share ? Walk in my shoes, see with my glasses on , sense with my sense and share with me my stories…

I like to share the changes that happend in my community. For example, new businesses opening or relocating. People really rely on Google maps to navigate their community. I like to play small part in making sure that they get where they need to.
