What I like to share most on Google Maps #connectLive2019

This is my small post for ConnectLive2019.

My name is Alex, I’m from Moscow, Russia, and I’m a student of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

When I was entering the University after school I was thinking a lot about the difficulties that could face with. I wasn’t from Moscow, so I had many questions about domitory and process of studying. And I’m so glad that Google Maps give me an opportunity to share the answers found with other people, who probably want to enter university. I believe my comments about Moscow State University and other universities I visited helped many applicants to do the right choise.

At the second year of studying I decided to work in a field of quantum technologies. Some time later I found that most of scientific centers are not marked on the Google Maps. Probably, scientists often have no time to add their organizations to the map. And I think that it’s not right, because science, specially quantum physics, is really cool! So in addition to the information aboul cool places I visited, I started to add information about scientific quantum centers to Google Maps.

I want to show people around me that cool and exciting science is closer, that they probably think
