Let me start by letting you know that I have a quite nice experience in hospitality, I was working in some of the best 5* hotels in London, and Michelin stared restaurants… So when it comes to hospitality I can honestly say that this is my favourite topic and that my review will always be professional. I am well aware that not every place has such high standards but there are some things that I consider every place working in hospitality industry has to respect. In my reviews you will most of all see the service vote and that is what I will be talking about today! Can I have a big YEAH from everyone working in hospitality? 
A good (not to mention excellent) service can change your entire view of a place! That is a fact! Bill can be to high (you saw the menu and prices when you seated) food can be tasteless (tastes are questionable) but service, there is no mistake, or is good or it’s NOT! And service is half of your impression of that entire place! So let’s see some of the crucial things that you will find rewarded or judged on my profile when it comes to service… A kind welcome: first impression matters! Positive and professional: some joke is always more than welcome at my table but there are some lines that shouldn’t be crossed. Cleanliness: nobody wants a dirty waiter/waitress or dirty table from people who were seated before them. A honest recommendation: People who work in hospitality need to know their menu and be able to recommend something for a person who wants their opinion on the dishes or cocktails and wines. And last but not least, a kind goodbye: even if it is a regular “we hope to see you again phrase” it gives the impression that the client isn’t kicked out due to closing hours, 2h table policy, previous reservation ecc… this small detail says, I am sorry we need to end your experience here but we hope you had a nice time and will visit us again.
So this a small detail from what I use to create my opinion of a place and write a review about it. There are many other things you will find in my reviews as a reasoning for stars given but most of my texts have a honest evaluation of service in that particular place and almost all have the menu diversity which is very important to me since I am vegetarian and I really like having more options than just a salad.
