What i feel as a local guide and what it means to me; would you discover my city with me?

Hello everybody  my name is Simone and I’m a 29 years old guy from Italy. I had the occasion to travel a bit around the world but I’m still far from discover all the marvels are out there waiting for us. For be coherent with my origins I would take the occasion of this post to introduce you to a walking tour that I’ve created, thanks to google maps, in the city in which I had birth and use to live. I ain’t still told you about but I’m from Rome, as in any other city there are not only good sides but still I have the luck of living in a marvelous open air museum and I would love to share with you the walk that I’ve often did when my friends came to visit me.

Basically it walks through all the center and the main Historical, Modern and most important Archaeological sites. The walk is very personal so in my list you will find just suggestions of how walk through them in order but you can easily start it from wherever you prefer. Personally I’ve choose the same location to start and end the tour for let have to the traveller the sensation of have conclude it, however don’t think it will be boring cause the place is the same but you’ll find yourself in a total different part of it!

It can last from three hours to a whole day, it will be really up to… it will be an intense day but in less than 24 hours you will have seen almost all of the most important things, places, spot of view and been walking throught a good part of the city. The whole path is about 12 kilometres, it won’t be an easy task but it will really worth your efforts. In the second day of your trip you could just choose freely between the few places and monuments that you still miss but I can assure you that even in a very short vacation you’ll be able to see a very big part of this beautiful city. Even if having more then three free days will be the best organization possible cause really it’s so plenty of thing to do, places to visit and wonders to discover.

If you’re curious about it you can have an overlook using the images that I’ve uploaded below. If I’m “sponsorizing” this walking tour is just cause it is one of the greatest opportunity that I’m having as a Local guide… use the normal knowledge of my city for let enjoy it better to whoever would like to, I just feel honoured by. So if you will give me even just an inch of trust have a look to my walking tour and when in Rome, enjoy those places! All you need is just good will and a pair of comfortable shoes
Enjoy it!
