What drives me to post reviews

drivers for me are:

  1. sense of belonging to a global community
  2. helping out people, helping them make an informed choice.
  3. like my pictures being viewed as I think am getting to be a decent photographer.
  4. reaction & interaction, if possible.

these drivers are in order of I can think why I spend time writing reviews and uploading pictures, I feel this helps someone somewhere to look and see from a travellers point of view, rather than the marketing pamphlets which beautify things.

I feel am contributing back to the online community who rely on simple and complex things to do via google maps, be it as simple as finding a restaurant to someone looking for a doctor and read reviews before taking an appointment, I did this too for my mothers case, where looked up a chiropractor to help with my moms fronton shoulders. there were around 70+ reviews out of which a couple of them were family detailed around the doctors treatment approach, to end results along with small but important nuances like bedside manners of the professional. this made me approach him and I can see my mother recovering from years old painful ailment., call it emotional but I feel some peoples review or location pictuers on local guides help me make the right choice I should do the same. and it just feels nice! nothing more and nothing less  in a small but insignificant way I may have helped someone somewhere out there

also as I love clicking pictures it makes it exciting that the local guide also adds things to my timeline with pictures thereby refreshing the event or the day.

you will see me around. thanks
