@iliasix I believe this is a statistic showing that in the month of August, from all the registered Local Guides in your home city New York, you are the top 5 percentile of highest contributors in terms of increase of contribution points.
For example, if there are 10000 total LG in New York, you are 499 others (top 5%) are the highest contributors in terms of increase of LG points in August. The other 9500 accrued less points than yourself in August.

It’s just Google Maps’ way of letting you know (or thanking you) that you are a very active contributor in Google Maps. Other than that, there’s no other benefit.
