First of all, the Local Guides program is an amazing opportunity for me to serve other people. I look this program is a platform for me to help others in a meaningful way. As the whole world is using Google maps for the guidance to do anything from shopping to travel, I proud to be a local guide and contributing to this program.
Secondly, it means to me a lot, because, it is not only a place to serve others rather be getting served. I remember a memory about my travel from Southern India to Northeast India by road in my car with my pets. I was left with an option to take my pets along with me in my car for a distance of more than 3000 kilometres all alone driving only with the guidance of Google maps. I was guided by the google maps at perfect roads and perfect restaurants which simplified my journey. My journey would not be possible without google maps. This inspired me to share my reviews about the places I visit which may help others like which helped me.
Finally, this program helps me to visit new places and makes me observe things in detail for the sake of later description and sharing in the google maps. So, I can say that the Local Guides program gave a significant impact on my life in terms of travel and in appreciating things. I love to continue my work through this program by sharing my experiences. It will inspire me and others in one or the other way.
