What does the Local Guides Program to me ? Being a World citizen, Life improvement and Love

I have decided to be a local guide 2 years ago. My main hobby was traveling when I want high school. I have always wanted to make money while traveling. I graduated high school. I have decided to choose Tour Guiding department in Anadolu University Eskisehir/TURKEY. Luckily I have traveled outside of my country while I was studying.

Trying to help people all around the world. I have discovered Google contribute and I have decided to contribute places that I like and I disliked. So whenever anyone comes to visit any place. They will be aware of what is good or not. I have been saving my all excitement when I comment or share a photo to a place. Traveling always my passion and being a Tour Guide means a lot of responsibilities. I consider myself as a cultural ambassador. The more I show my country to people who is visiting. The more I became full of happiness.

I told myself that traveling is not enough and I contributed many places to feel fulfillment. Even if we are in 21st century and we still don’t know which places are located? For example many people think that Museum Troy is located in Greece. Actually it is located in Turkey. I am sure that those contributions will help everyone to discover many places.

Love is one of the most necessities in our life and in my idea it is inevitable. It sounds strange that I became close with my girlfriend thanks to Google Map Contribute.

I am exchange student coordinator in my University and I am organizing events, trips and meetings. While I was mentioning about being a Local Guide on Google. She was interested then I showed her how I contributed. Later we started to travel together and I am so thankful that I met with her. My life full of happiness when I am with her

Telling myself “I will always travel the places where I see sun up” appeals me to travel more. I consider myself as a world citizen and I will always help people who are looking forward to traveling.

I am going to share more stories about my life at the Connect Live 2020.

Hope to see you there
