I had been in IT industry for as long as I remember. Google had always been a part of my life. I always use to receives messages about Google maps for writing review or feedback after I had visited someplace which I usually use to ignore. Later someday I just thought of giving it a try and see what exactly will it lead me. I initially started with uploading pictures, writing reviews, etc as a hobby or past time activity. And when I started doing it on a daily basis and when hobby converted into a passion I didn’t even realize. Now I feel visiting new places, get some good pictures or videos, give some genuine reviews or feedback. I had never thought of going out of my comfort zone for long time and never did travel anywhere apart from my hometown or my workplace but it was Google’s Local guide program that helped me to plan different trips and visit new places. I keep on telling my friends and introduce them about how I become a Google local guide and help them out to do the same. Google has always helped humanity by many means and it’s our turn to return back the favor. Google’s local guide program also helped me to do some activity apart from our day to day work and help others by updating new things. I would like to do more and visit more places and explore the globe to learn about different cultures, people, places add accordingly to help others to know them in more detail. It was always my dreams and wish to see Google once in my lifetime and if given a chance to attend the event I would the happiest person in the world. Meet my fellow Google guides from across the globe, learn new things from them to improve my capabilities to do much better for Google Maps in the future. I wish I could one of the lucky people out of the selected members to visit the event and fulfill my dream to be a part of Google’s Local guide program.
