Hello, Local Guides Team!
The first thing that I want to say for me Local Guides is a saving time. This an incredibly important thing in the modern world. For me it is an opportunity to make the most convenient travel plan with pre-designated places to visit. It is also an opportunity to avoid disappointment, since you can already see a photos of a particular place and read a review of a local guide about it. This program gives me the chance to go on vacation to know in advance which place I want to see. I do not need to waste time on the Internet to search for articles about a particular place and do their analysis. It’s enough to open Google maps, look the photos and see the ratings.This things saves me a lot of time. I just come to see with my own eyes and enjoy. Not only that ? I come also to make photos by myself, in order to help someone else.
I like to consider architecture, nature, landscapes and of course food) I especially like when I manage to at least partially convey the beauty with the help of a photo! It’s incredibly cool to take a picture that will cause another person to want to taste what is in the picture or go on a trip to a place that inspired with one glance! ?
I also want to say that at this difficult time for the whole world, when trips stopped and all flights were closed in our country, thanks to Google maps there is an opportunity to continue exploring new places online and of course to prepare for their future visits ? I always keep all the places that fascinate me in the “I want to visit” list, and after their visit I always post photos and reviews.
The only thing that I have not yet discovered for myself is personal acquaintances with other guides from other countries. I have only one friend local guide, Anna Gandrabur, she visited Local Guides Connect 2019 and she inspired me to join local guides. And now for a year, us I share photos of amazing and useful places, I also use the recommendations of other people and leave mine. This is awesome to have such an opportunity!
