Hi everyone, I’m Andy from Singapore , I came across the Local Guide program about 2 years ago.
Being part of the program has allow me to contribute to the accuracy of the Google Map and reviews of the places. This is paying forward to the benefits that I have enjoyed from the reviews of other Local Guides’ contributions.
The program has increasingly become a vital part of my daily routine, I will use the information available to help me plan and select the places of interest to visit or businesses that I would patronise. At the same time, I will verify the information posted to ensure an accurate reflection of the places.
The program has encouraged me to explore more places as I’m able to do my research prior to travelling there, I’m able to relate better to the place when I’m there as though I have been there many times prior !
Moving forward, I’m excited to see the new features and increasing contributions from other Local Guides, this is like crowdsourcing the information of the place and making better informed choices!
