Being a Local guide means a lot to me. First, I am very proud to be a local guide. Because as an individual contributor Google honored me by giving the role “Google Local Guide”.
Google acknowledged me, trusted me and also upon my contributions to Google maps. I love to help others and sharing my experiences & knowledge to others. For this, the Google Map is the best platform, as far as I am concerned.
Local Guide has made me to be aware of my environment and everywhere i go, i pay critical attention to things, objects and places and bring them on board via google maps so the whole world will benefit. I love reviewing places and answering questions from places I have visited.
Also, The realisation of belonging to a global family of Local guides from different parts of the world makes me so glad and that’s what Local Guides program means to me. Being part of a family with a common goal of contributions and sharing of experiences for the benefit of all via Google maps is more than enough for me.
I also wait patiently for the Monthly feedback from google on how well and how people are benefitting from my experiences and contributions which makes me happy.
Being an active LG Connect member, I also enjoy reading Post by different Moderators and fellow Local Guides, which gifts opportunities to make friends, Learn and update different Google Products. I also get the opportunity to feel the creations of different photographers, experience Travel and Local stories, take a glimpse at food and drinks, etc. This is the platform where I clear my doubts, hear the latest announcement from Google. I am so much thankful to Google for giving me the opportunity to host and attend different Connect Meet Ups where I learnt many things and got many great friends all over Nigeria and the World.
I am so grateful and proud that millions of people are reading my reviews and seeing my photos. I am fascinated to see that millions of Local Guides are contributing, along with me. And Connect Live being a platform where the best of these LGs are going to meet, I would like to expand my horizon of Knowledge & friendship and have some fun too.
