So the Local Guides program means a lot to me. For me, the best part of this program is to help others. It’s really so good to see that by this program, I can actually help so many people in all around the world in discovering new places. I see this program as the most perfect place where I can find my own satisfaction. On Google map, I always find my inner satisfaction after knowing that I am helping other people through my work. This feeling definitely means a lot to me. As a local guide, I always love to upload photos, videos, answer others’ questions, give reviews of different places. Finally; when I get to see myself that I was able to help someone today; and that feeling I think is the best thing this program has to offer to us. Various emails from Google Maps like your photos are making a difference, your reviews are helping others, keep up the good work, thanks for sharing are also very motivational and they keep pushing me to go to the next level and explore new things. I always love to contribute on Google map and visit more places. Nowadays; I often keep looking for any new kind of new places near me just to upload on Google Maps. Being able to help people in the actual world is really amazing. I have never been happier in my life before as I find myself by contributing in this program. I must mention here that the pair of socks that I received as a local guide level 5 was also very awesome. It definitely put a smile on my face and inspired me a lot. The things that were written on the card which I received along with the socks were also very motivational. These kinds of perks offered by this program are absolutely a plus point to the program. I strongly believe that this program has the perfect amount of potential to move forward in the future and to provide much more help to the society.
As a Local Guide, I consider this as my solemn duty to keep helping others around the globe. I always enjoy my work and I am very proud to be a Local Guide. Most importantly, I respect the idea of this program for giving the effort towards making the world a better place.
