Encourage me to apply for meetup
It’s a first time I am applying for Google local guide program.
Well it’s a second chance provided by google team but last time I hadn’t filed, yes there were some personal problem but this time I am happy to attend it.
I had heard about local guide program from those emails receive from google. I thanks to google to send those emails to aware me about it.
Exchange culture know the world
It would be my first meetup If I get a chance. I meet people around globe. What they think how they do their job. It’s a chance to aware those culture who belongs to different corners of the world. As the local guide I had met many people in India many shopkeepers many local Business man or women. I visited numbers of restaurants and also gone through villages.
Have a smart phone but don’t know about google map
I started to travel rural areas. In the villages I found people are not aware of Google map. They don’t know about Navigation and also unaware that how to grow their business by using google map platform. Unintentionally with google map I help them to update their business location on this platform. They have smartphone and they are watching videos on YouTube listening songs from SD card, aware about whatsapp but they don’t know about google maps.

I thanks to the Google that they had created Google map because this is going to help people. It aware to get shortest and best route to reach their destination. I am remembering my first journey to New Delhi. This was my first long distance journey. I was searching my next destination place and I asked peoples to guide the way and the people replies it’s about 10 minutes from my current location. Yeah! that time google route navigation was not available or maybe I was not aware of that. There 10 minute path never ends in 45 minuets while my walking speed is good. So I am remembering what were the system about to guide the people.
Yes! in India pan Walla gives you the exact route map but he can’t put exact timing but it was successful and I believe we upgrade our things time to time in cultural upgradation.
We need you created
At my first travel to India’s capital in 2005 I was thinking that there should be a system that suggests the best path to travel. After several years I heard about Google map navigation and the things started. I started to mark location on google map as well as other local guides too and that started to help people.
Crisis support by google local guide
I am writing this application on 27th March 2020. On this time India and other country are lockdown due to COVID19. We all know the current situation.
Incidentally I am in rural area and I am finding that shopkeepers increases the rate while government restructuring from black marketing. I am in touch of other local guides and they are facing same issue in their area.
My point is : Google can play big role in crisis management.
Google has large number of local guides in different area and countries too. Local guides rate shopkeepers and also send feedback to google about those who are looting. From getting feedback and review of several local guides google ban their details on their map and other platform. This action make people more responsive to their society. Well this is an idea if you like you can implement.
The last thanks
Now I am on that level that Google Invite me to fill the form to attend or qualify for meetup. I am also looking for same that I get new friends who are helping people on Google map. We share our stories and our experience that help me to understand how they do their job in their environment. There are more than 190 countries in the world and we have a chance to meet variety of culture from globe. Every one has an unique environment. it’s interesting to know about those. It would be good for me to understand their culture and exchange it.
Well I am assuming for it but the real experience will be came out after attending google local guide program. So I believe Google will give me an opportunity to meet people from different location. who are doing same job that I am. Thank you.
