I think the Local Guides program means to everyone "You are not the user you are user and contributor. you are a developer of a world map. This is a great favour for people and researchers in Earth sciences around the world.
During my master’s and PhD in physical geography, I had to learn about programs and Mapping software. I can say that Google Map is the most recent map in the world updated every minute by the idea of being a user and developer at the same time. This is a brilliant idea. And because I love to travel around the world, I share with my friends videos of all places, pictures, experiences and reviews for restaurants and markets.
We transfer our experiences to each other. This is great for me and all the Local Guides. So, you offer a service for travel and touring enthusiasts around the world, when you share your experiences and travels with us, I have added in 10 countries I visited What about you ???
