What does the Local Guides program mean to you?
I could write a lot, but shortly there are 3 mainly reasons why I use it.
Firstly: I am highly google maps addicted. Finding the places through Google map, using navigator, viewing the way – to my work, the best restaurant around or other interesting place on my way is part of my daily routine.
Secondly we are totally active travel family. Before we go somewhere, my first job is looking photos and comments of others, which help me introduce why I want or don’t go there. We use it everywhere and everytime.
Thirdly – it remind me to be helpful. I really like taking pictures, but just for family album. This program suggested that I should add photos, say directly to me: you use it, so help others. When posting a new photo, I feel the commitment to give as much value as I can.
To sum up: Local Guides is a real sea of possibilities for all of us. I can’t answer: "Sorry. I can’t help. I don’t know, because I am not local”. I am local and really appreciate it.
