The Local Guides program has had a high influence on my life since I discovered it one year ago. I was a Local Guide already but I didn´t know, because before I found the program I was always trying to give my best advices If I knew the place where friends were getting away. Now, in fact, I can do the same but much better.
Before I had children, I used to spend my free time eating out, travelling and discovering new places, and I loved it. After my daughter was born I thought that doing the same things wouldn´t be possible but it wasn´t the true. I could continue with my life, but it took me some /a bit of effort, and because of that, I want to encourage other parents that were as scared as I was.
Since I am a Local Guide I try to give my best when I comment on a restaurant or monument because my goal is that the family prepare the experience better and be able to enjoy it a lot together Less stress means more happiness. I inform then if the place has baby changing facilities, if the menu is suitable for babies or children or if the contrary you must bring their own food from home.
Being together is the best experience but paternity isn´t easy sometimes, It isn´t a jail, only a new start, you can continue doing the same things, but in a different way.
Although being a Local Guide is a challenge because I have to improve my English to do the video recording and the post. This challenge has made me feel very happy.
