Since I’ve joined the Local Guides program, I found it as a perfect place to share my own experience, photos of my favourite places, and a part of me.
I love to travel. Even now I’m writing this post thousands of miles from my home. I often explore new places, that’s why sometimes I have to rely on other people suggestions and experience. Which hostel is better to stay? Which cafe serves the best coffee and buns? Which spot is worth to visit? I feel lucky that quite often my own experience matches with other guides suggestions, and I want to express my big respect to them!
With the same sense of hospitality and understanding that next time my opinion also could help some other people to make the right choice, I share my pieces of experience.
Being a guide gives me an incentive to make better pictures, to note more important or interesting details, and also, it gives me an opportunity to keep writing. I understand, that I have the responsibility to provide accurate information because it might help other people to avoid my mistakes or enjoy new cool places. Seeing that my contributions can help other people, motivates me to keep sharing wherever I am.
