I love other genres of photography, travel photography being the one of it. I had no idea about what Google’s local guide is and what it’s benefits are until I accidentally discovered it when I was in Iceland.
It piqued my interest instantly and it was extremely helpful to connect with the place. That later became one of the best and memorable trips that I have had. Since then I have been actively using as well as contributing to Local guide. I feel this is one of the best platforms for travelers to plan on places, stay and finances and also helps people to find local and authentic attractions. The more people use it, the better it gets. It is mutually beneficial to people who consume as well as people who contribute. I started receiving good responses from it. I have been rewarded by Google with lovely gifts that further motivated me to share more pictures and videos of the places I travel. I also started to write detailed review about the places along with my pictures. I hope my contribution reaches many more and help people discover new places and inspire them to travel and contribute as well.
