What do you think about that? What do I think about that? Let’s do one better, what do we ALL think about that? That’s what the Local Guides program means to me, it’s that we are a team. No single voice speaks louder than the rest but instead we all get a say in what the world looks, sounds, and feels like. Together we put together our ideas about places and experiences and come up with the best representation to our peers and the world through pictures, reviews and meet-ups.
I live in Tucson, AZ and I’m new to the Local Guides program, I recently discovered it through a friendly suggestion on Reddit. I already had a backlog of pictures and experiences from my wife and I traveling and exploring our area and other cities around the southern U.S. Instantly it clicked in my head that I have a true home for all of our photos (#TeamPixel) and mental notes about places we love and can share them with the world of people that are looking for a suggestion or tip on a place they haven’t been to yet.
Together with all the local guides out there I can continue to help give light to a big beautiful world of places to see and things to do, food to eat and people to meet! The Local Guides Program is a team I’m happy to have become a part of.
