I discovered the Local Guide Programme as a prompt on my email. Being regular Google map user , I saw this programme as an avenue to encourage google for the good job they had started. As a land Surveyor, I understand what it takes to create a street guide map and google had already done this for all the cities in different country. I understood the cost that must have gone in the development of the existing data base which is a great help to humanity. The only way I can contribute to this great humanitarian job started by Google is to become a local Guide and help in updating the map. As a Local Guide, I feel fulfilled because I help people find specific answers to specific questions on the map.
