What does the local guides program mean to you to me

When I moved to live in Israel, I began to study the places that are next to me. I used googlemaps to search for green areas to walk with children, opened photos attached to these places, and several times so I went to the cemetery, it was funny, but a little sad.

Once Google photos invited me to share my photos on Google maps, I liked it because I didn’t want anyone to find themselves in a similar situation like me.

When traveling to other countries, I actively use Google maps to find unique places. I wish all google map users to find their unique places and share them with others

Hi @grigoriygt

Welcome to Connect. And thanks for sharing. Have you had a chance to take a look at “Your guide at to connect.”? It’s a good starting point for this forum.

By the way, are you applying for Connect Live 2020 with this post? If so, as part of the requirement, you need to write the post under Local Stories topic.

Check out this How to write a great connect live post for more information.

You can edit your post/message. Click that three dots and select “Edit Message” as shown in below screenshot.

Once in edit mode, select local stories as Topic. You can only select one topic.

Good luck

Hi @grigoriygt ,

It seems that you’ve shared a post for your Connect Live 2020 application. Keep in mind, one of the requirements is to share your post on Local Stories, so I’ve moved your post there, thanks.

Feel free to have a look at the application guidelines and find some handy tips for creating an application post.

I’ve noticed that your post has a Russian language label tag. Please note, I’ve removed it, as your post is written in English. To learn more about those labels please take a look at the How do I find posts in my preferred language?
