Local guide is a responsibility of sharing right information by ways of photo, reviews, QA among others. I searched backward and gather that during summers of 2016 contributed for first on Google Map and it was a review of business location in my hometown seconded with photo of the business. The contributions i have made are based on places I visited and experience I had to let other know about the place in advance and know about the places if not existed. With changing times the Local Guide contribution played an important role in my way of contribution as it helps others in making decision and there is belief of billions of users worldwide who look for right information on Google maps. Given the significance of shared reviews, photos and knowledge as a local guide patron I continue to contribute in building Google Maps a more accessible, connecting, reliant and useful placeholder.
Google map is an on-screen app on my device and it has become a routine activity to contribute more with every passing day. As Google maps not only help people navigate and explore but also has become a handy companion. The integration of Google SSO has become a lifesaver that has a trip schedule and Google maps helps in getting organized, moving out confidently from Point A to Point B, finding food and find a corner for photography to live the memories. Wherever i go the perspective of seeing things has changed being a Local Guide and i tend to capture information to contribute in a more organized way so that the right information is available to all and is in coherence to Google Maps thought process – Map the World.
Going forward the live view, list creation and notes are going to have a significant role in my publishing of local insights while as it will help others explore the world and discover places to go, what exactly one need to go for and give an experience of Map made for you.
