What does the Local Guides program mean to you me : Relieve and find myself in the bustling city!

Have you ever thought of why you want to join the Google Local Guide Program?

I believe there are lots of reasons…

Interestingly, i live in the bustling city, New Taipei City.

To me, the daily life is nothing else but eating something delicious, going to some places to kill time, etc.

Also, i always recorded the new places on my Google Map.

Just like what i did as usual.

Until one day i went to a forest with my uncle in the Sanxia Dist., New Taipei City.

It was called, “Manyueyuan National Forest Recreation Area.”

The moment when i was standing on the rock path as well as looking at the mountain…

It felt like, " How come i was only a 21-year-old boy and i always felt the life was so busy? And i suddenly asked myself :

HOW LONG HAVEN’T I RELIEVED AND THOUGHT OF MYSELF IN SUCH A LEISURE PLACE? "

I have only been to this place, Manyueyuan National Forest Recreation Arean for two times.

Guess What?

=>The last time i came here was about 10 years ago( I was just a little boy).

And i went with my family. I somewhat remember my dad or my mom just held my hands with my unstable footsteps.

10 years flies (now), I went here with my uncle, although not with my parents. But i still felt like, “WOW! Time flies, it was ten years.”

And you know what, this time changed to be i held my uncle’s back to help him go up when he felt a little bit tired.

The moment i wrote down the comments on Google Maps, I recalled the Kinship, the time(time ran so fast) , the life, also about myself( if i really did what i wanted to do now? Did i really make good use of my time. Because only once in a lifetime.)

When you asked me : What does the Local Guides program mean to you me?

i will probably said :

1. It was kinds of recording the place you have or haven’t been to.

2. Let not only the foreign but also the domestic tourists to travel the place where they may eager to go but with no information discovering before.

3. The moment i am recording, it will probably impact me of the spiritual aspect.( Like recall to kinship or other relationship, feel relieve in your busy life, think of yourself a lot of things…)

4. I believe that the places you go to can accompany you from generation to generation(Like in the childhood you may go with parents, but 20 or 30 years past, it turns out to be you and your kids…)!

I think those are my real answer to the question, especially the third and fourth one!

~~The local guide makes me recall the past of myself~~

In the bustling New Taipei City, lots of people are loaded with stress.

How often have we let our hair down and relaxed?
Manyueyuan National Forest Recreation Area, which is located in Sanxia District, New Taipei City, possesses a breathtaking environment.

This was my first time to travel this place.

I went with my uncle.

Not only tall and big trees sit along the forest, but also spectacular waterfall appeals foreign and domestic tourists.

To me, it was absolutely a great place that let me tell the natural about what was on my mind.

And this makes me think of what does the Local Guide Program mean to me?

I believe that there are lots of places where not only foreign but also domestic tourists don’t know.

Flew back to why i want to manage this Local Guide Program at the beginning.

One is that i want to record where i have been to.
Second is that i want to promote the good place to those who haven’t been to or are eager to go to.

But to me, i think the interesting thing is that almost every place where i have been to, i would like to connect with the spiritual aspect.

For example, about last month i have been to a scenery place with my family.

I suddenly felt sorrowful because i remember when i was a little boy, the same place, my parents tightly held my hands and took me for relaxing.

But now, it changes to be i hold my parents hands and took them up carefully.

I mean, time really flies.

So when somebody ask me what means to me as being a Local guide?

I would say, " It lets me recall the kinship when recording places in the Local Guide Program."

Because i believe that the places you go to can accompany you from generation to generation!
