What does the Local Guides program mean to you ?  I.U.S : Influence Useful and Selfessness

The meaning of local guide program can be classified in 3 ways that lead to a crossroads that I called sociability.

Let’s talk about the influence:

L.G.P makes it possible to create in those who did not have it or then to develop in those who already had it, a sociable spirit on a daily basis. I ranked with those whose their spirit is developed by the program, of course I am someone of sociable, but I am also someone of introvert. Generally , I look for reasons to integrate others into my environment and since I discovered this program, I know that when I do something, it will affect others.

I get closer to others and communicate with them, I help them and vice versa. Before, when I went out for a walk, I did it for myself, I did it with my friends, I did it for me with my family, for our joy, for our moment of relaxation. But today, when I go somewhere, especially to find out, it is no longer just for me, but for an entire community, and suddenly my happiness is that of someone else or my opinion whether it is good or bad risks to affect another person and we realize that these words, these photos, which we choose to describe or give our opinions can be decisive for someone who is at information research.

Besides, you take initiatives ; to go to such a place on such a day just to have an opinion and share it; in anyway it also develops the spirit of competitiveness and initiative, because at times, you want to give your opinion before others, all this remaining in a good atmosphere. Therefore, this program gives us such an ability to influence that we feel at least forced to transmit our true emotion, our true feeling in places. To give my opinion, I must discover, frequent, communicate; in short, I must be sociable.

Then the usefulside, I also start to develop it above. When you give your opinion, more than one person is likely to rely on it to make a decision. Will I find out? do I use it or not? Is it worth it or not? And not only at the level of visitors or potential customers, but also at the level of those who head these institutions on which we give our opinions.

Recently, I issued a completely natural opinion on a hotel in which I resided in Dubai during my holidays in January and I received the thanks of the Management for this opinion. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised and delighted when I saw that he had left a message. Why? Simply because it’s always a pleasure to help and feel useful. We realize that by being useful, we enlarge our field of action, we enlarge our field of knowledge and we take a step further in sociability.

Then the last point is selflessness

Doing humanitarian and volunteer work 50% of my time; mutual aid, charity, altruism are qualities that I frequent on a daily basis, that I respect and that helps me to shape who I am, in this program, I find these qualities. Why? Because by being useful to others, by taking a little of our time daily, by week or by month, in short by taking a little on what we have free time; you’re doing a lot to smile, or to unload someone’s weight. I have experienced it myself; every time I travel to unknown territory for example, it is not easy. I’m looking, watching, skipping hundreds of reviews on the internet and realizing that it’s really important to always give honest feedback. Why? Because it can get someone out of trouble.

Seriously!!! It helps a lot for those who need it, which is why this program, in my opinion, is a social crossroads, and frankly why not, a bridge that ensures the safety of those who use it.
